Another interesting old property at Sally's Flat on the way to Hillend. This shed has seen better days, but it still stores some hay and a ladder or two, not to mention the thirst-quenching bathtub out to the side. I love rural properties and admire the work that goes into working the land. They come in all shapes, sizes and states. I often take photos straight out of the moving vehicle. Then, when I go through my photos later, I try to imagine the scene the way I saw it, and this puts a whole new perspective on my inspiration.

My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
