It winds its way through the very pretty township and provides a haven to locals, visitors, walkers, birds, birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. Even a friendly platypus has made the river his home, and if you're lucky he might pop his head up and say hello. We love visiting Mudgee and exploring everything it has to offer.
