I was absolutely delighted when a friend alerted me to a lily pond close to home. Waterlilies go back thousands of years and have many different meanings around the world. The one common thing about them is their intricate beauty, the way they lift a pond, create a haven for water-dwelling creatures and just look amazing!
The story goes that pink water lilies represent love and compassion!
