"Mudgee Wetlands" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

Being a birdlover, I was excited to visit Mudgee Wetlands also known as "Putta Bucca"an aboriginal term from the Wiradjuri people. The reserve used to be an old gravel quarry which has now been transformed into a large billabong connected to the Cudgegong River and boasts a diverse ecosystem full of birds, fish, frogs and turtles.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
