The skies cleared with sunshine just in time for our family reunion in Huskisson on the South Coast. After a week of rain, everything felt renewed, and the sunlight brought warmth to our spirits. I sat on the flat rocks at Huski Beach, with a sketchbook in hand, jotting down notes to preserve the memory of the scene. The rocky surface was smooth, a glistening stream of water captured my attention.
There are plenty of chartered boats in the area, and one had conveniently just passed by.

My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
