Coming into Batlow by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting, 37cm x 27cm and is unframed. We are currently on a trip through the picturesque South Western Slopes of NSW. Here Autumn is in full colour and the deciduous trees are laying a thick carpet of warm hues from yellow gold all the way to maroon. As we drove into Batlow, I knew the scene of the big flaming-red tree and Batlow Hotel had to be the subject of my new painting. Batlow is a beautiful and very friendly little town and being "apple-country" the apples were as crisp as ever! The signature is in the lower right hand corner and a certificate of authenticity is included.
