Watercolour on Saunders Waterford CP 300gsm paper, 36.5cm x 26.5cm unframed.
Afternoon on the Lachlan River in Cowra is painted mostly plein-air on the banks of the peaceful river.
The painting requires framing. The above photo suggests a possible scenario for framing.
After Lockdown we finally got away to explore the Central West of NSW. Blessed with sunshine, I couldn't wait to pick up my easel and head down to the river. The landscape was dappled with light and shade and the peaceful ambience was only awakened by bathing birds. The river is loved by locals who find lots of enjoyment from this natural resource flowing through the heart of their town.
